A long-time advocate and lover of darts, Will Stuart is the star livestreaming technician of our production company, USA Darts. You will often find him as the main announcer for USA Darts broadcasts as well as the organizer behind all player interviews. In 2021, Will even joined the A-Z Darts crew as a crucial member of the marketing team with his expert darts knowledge and social media skills.

WILL STUART DARTS RANGE VIDEO REVIEW
Will Stuart gives you an in-depth review of his new signature Alpha Will Stuart Darts Range by Colonial. He compares the soft tip and steel tip versions and elaborates on the overall design including cuts, coating and grip intensity – plus some throwing action in the end. Let’s go over each aspect one by one:
CUTS & COATING
The Will Stuart darts took on a more classic design with a straight barrel design, where the steel tip version has a bulbous taper into the point and the soft tip model is a true straight profile.
In the center, middle grippers can enjoy a consistent reference point with the raised step up section with indented axial grooves coated in a powder blue color inspired by the Kansas City Royals — Will's favorite baseball team. The claw-like grip design is inspired by the vintage darts set, the Monster Peacemaker from back in the day.
Along the front and rear are regular radial bands, varying between wide and ultra-thin for a unique grip on your fingers. All Will Stuart darts are coated with black titanium nitride for enhanced grip.
GRIP INTENSITY 3.5/5
Overall, we rate the entire Will Stuart darts range with a grip intensity of 3.5 out of 5. For someone like Will who grips the dart quite loosely, it won't feel as sharp in the hands. But for players with a tighter grip, the Will Stuart darts may feel more like a 4 out of 5 at first. This range is ideal for middle grippers as the center of the barrel will provide a consistent reference point for your fingers to hold onto.
90% TUNGSTEN BARREL
Every Will Stuart darts barrel is made from 90% tungsten metal makeup. The higher percentage of tungsten gives the barrel a more dense and slimmer feel without compromising weight and durability.
Match Weighted
One of the best features of our Colonial brand is even though we're all about affordability, we still take the time to match weight every set. This means you're guaranteed to receive 3 darts that are all within +/- 0.1 grams of the advertised weight.
The Will Stuart darts are available in steel tip (22g) and soft tip (18g barrel only, 20g fully assembled) models. You can view the exact weights of the steel tip and soft tip barrels in the video above.
Length and Diameter
Like the Jen Mounts darts, the Will Stuart darts models only have a slight difference in the length and diameter between steel tip and soft tip. The steel tip model is slightly longer with a wider diameter, while the soft tip is shorter and a bit skinnier.

The Will Stuart darts' steel tip length is about 51mm and the max diameter (measured at the widest or thickest part of the dart) is about 6.5mm.

The Will Stuart darts' soft tip length is around 48mm and the max diameter is around 6.3mm.
WILL STUART DARTS BOX CONTENTS
Both the steel tip and soft tip versions of the Will Stuart darts come as barrels only, except for the steel tip model which has a standard steel tip already attached. Flights, shafts, and other accessories are not included in the barrels.
Will chose to dress his darts in the USA Darts Fit Flights in Shape and Slim along with black gear shafts for both steel tip and soft tip versions. His soft tip point of choice is the Fit Point Plus Points, a super reliable top product for all soft tip darts!
