Garrett Rakowski Darts Range by Winmau - Product Review

Garrett "The Bullet" Rakowski began his darts journey in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 14, following his dad around at dart tournaments and falling in love with the game. It wasn’t until he turned 21, however, that Garrett was finally able to play in dart leagues and grow amongst other soft tip players, kickstarting his successful darts career of over 8 years. 

Within recent years, Garrett has had the opportunity to travel for national dart tournaments and secured winning titles at major events for soft tip players like the Stupid Juice Open, Milwaukee City, NDA and more. Just this year, The Bullet got signed for a thrilling sponsorship with Winmau, one of the biggest darts brand in the entire industry.

The Garrett Rakowski darts have captured the hearts of Americans with a long straight barrel, incredibly popular here in the States. Two distinct grip sections split the design into halves, one coated a blood red and the other a deep ocean blue.

In the front, we have an intense interrupted ring cut in red followed by a smooth section in the middle. At the rear, softer and more subtle blue and white coated milling can be seen with tightly spaced radial bands that feel mostly smooth with just a little bite.

Every Garrett Rakowski darts barrel is made from 90% tungsten metal makeup. This is a common theme amongst many other top Winmau player darts as the higher percentage of tungsten gives the barrel a more dense and slimmer feel without compromising weight and durability.

Following the same red and blue color scheme, the Garrett Rakowski darts flights feature a bubble mosaic in shades of blue, overlayed by thick red stripes that almost look like fangs. The Bullet's name is finished on the side in a bold silver, outlined in red to really pop out.

These special flights are new additions to the Winmau Prism Delta flights collection and are made from an extra thick, low-profile solid material that'll guarantee endurance and high performance.

Keeping it classic, Winmau used their top performing Vecta shafts to complement the Garrett Rakowski darts range. Each shaft is made with high-impact polycarbonate material with an alloy tip, ensuring these shafts are durable and effective.
