RICK HENZE'S LEGACY
Rick "Juggernaut" Henze, another rising soft tip star, was welcomed onto Winmau Team America around the same time as fellow soft tippers Mike Maloney and Garrett Rakowski. He began his journey into darts 14 years ago when his friend introduced the game to him, getting him hooked. Over a short period of time, Rick was even able to drastically raise his average points per dart from 16 all the way up to 24 as his dedication to self-improvement grew.
Now a fully-fledged professional soft tip player, Rick has even recruited his son, Tyler Henze, to participate in dart tournaments as a father-son duo. They rank #10 and #17 respectively on the Booyah Cup Order of Merit.

CUTS & COATING
We absolutely loved the cool design of the Rick Henze darts range! For those who are fans of barrels with a scallop, you'll definitely love the Rick Henze darts. It's quite smooth with a little extra grip in the middle of the scallop with three radial grooves.
The middle of the dart features several tightly spaced reverse cuts that give the barrel an extra bite, followed by axial cuts in the front and an even taper into the soft tip point.
GRIP INTENSITY
Overall, we rate the entire Rick Henze darts range with a grip intensity of a 4 out of 5. It’s really hard to do a rating for grip intensity because the scallop shape is smooth, but you have these radial grooves in the center and the obvious hourglass shape rather than a traditional scooping scallop. The shape is so specific, it's an incredible reference point for grip that it doesn't need to be very aggressive.
In the front, the reverse cuts add even more aggression to the grip. We rate it around a 3.5 to 4 for grip intensity because the shark cuts are very micro and tightly spaced.
90% TUNGSTEN BARREL
Every Rick Henze darts barrel is made from 90% tungsten metal makeup. This is a common theme amongst many other top Winmau player darts as the higher percentage of tungsten gives the barrel a more dense and slimmer feel without compromising weight and durability.

A proud American darts player, the Rick Henze darts flights follow a patriotic theme with the Juggernaut's signature blue color scheme. A black silhouette of the American flag's stars and stripes dominates the main focal points of the design, with Henze's name in graphic letters along the side.
