The 2025 Las Vegas Open is returning in January to the excitable Las Vegas Tuscany Suites with all-new action for their 46th annual event! To help you plan for your trip to the Las Vegas Open, we've prepared our A-Z Travel Guide with information on entry fees, reserving your hotel and booking flights for the event — plus some travel tips at the end.
Since 1978, the Las Vegas Open event has been one of the very first tournaments hosted by the American Darts Organization (ADO) after the ADO's establishment in 1975. It is also ranked by the World Darts Federation (WDF) as part of their Gold category tournaments starting this year, while the official event dartboard is the illustrious Winmau Blade 6. Las Vegas has always been home to the Las Vegas Open, true to its namesake, and ADO is excited to return once more to the Tuscany Suites & Casino to celebrate the 46th annual event.
If you're looking to attend the 2025 Las Vegas Open, here are all of the event details below to know where and when the event will be held:

The 2025 Las Vegas Open is fast approaching with deadlines you won't want to miss when booking hotels and checking flights. Follow along with our 3-step A-Z Travel Guide to stay organized as you plan your trip, and we're throwing in some extra travel tips at the end so you can make the most of your trip!
Turnout for the Las Vegas Open is massive year after year, so you'll definitely want to book your hotel room as soon as possible. The Tuscany Suites & Casino will be your best hotel of choice for this event as the Las Vegas Open host — what better way to not miss any of the action?
Right now, the Tuscany Suites & Casino hotel is offering special rates to attendees of the Las Vegas Open. You can book a room any time between January 12 and January 22 to save some money with the prices ranging between $74/night on non-event nights and $134/night during the Friday and Saturday of the event. Click the button below to book your room with the special rate!
After booking your hotel room for the Las Vegas Open, here are a few things you can expect during your stay at the Tuscany Suites & Casino hotel:
After buying your event tickets and booking a hotel, you can finally book your flight to fly into Las Vegas for the 2025 Las Vegas Open. The city is home to multiple airports, but the one you'll want to fly into is the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) as it is the closest airport to the Las Vegas Open venue — only 3.2 miles away.
Transportation arrangements are convenient in Las Vegas as well. From the airport, taxis charge a flat rate in comparison to an Uber or a Lyft, so take advantage of that rate if the cost of an Uber or Lyft to the Las Vegas Open venue is too hefty. Otherwise, Uber and Lyft are the way to go for getting places within the city.
Las Vegas may be known for its gambling scene, but don't gamble on your steel tip darts if you're planning on traveling with a set to the Las Vegas Open — it's not worth the risk! TSA will confiscate your steel tip darts if you pack them in your carry on, so make sure to check in your bag to avoid having your darts taken while going through security.
If you don't want to check in your bag, we recommend bringing soft tip darts and conversion points instead. Fully disassemble your darts setup and place everything in your toiletries bag. Check out conversion points available on our website below:
What's a Las Vegas trip without a little fun? Since you'll be in town for the Las Vegas Open, we encourage you to explore the rest of the city and all it has to offer. Read along for some of the best Las Vegas travel tips we have to offer.
WDF Ranked Events:
For those participating in the WDF-ranked 501 Singles (both men and women) have a strict dress code.
Vegas Leisure:
Las Vegas is located right in the middle of a desert, so while it has super hot summers, its winters are complementarily chilly. You'll want to bundle up in layers with scarves and beanies, especially if you plan on exploring the city's vast nightlife on the strip after the Las Vegas Open events, with temperatures averaging 58 degrees during the day and 39 degrees at night.
Make sure to bring comfortable walking shoes to save your feet from all the walking you'll do along the bars, hotels, and stores of Vegas. Explore the area and sightsee as much as you can on your Las Vegas Open trip.
Short on Jerseys? No worries! Our custom sports apparel brand Magic Wear will be on sight again for the upcoming LVO! Stop by to grab a souvenir, support USA Darts with a branded jersey or simply rock a new look for one of your events!
While the Las Vegas Open venue is an off-strip hotel, it's still just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip. You'll never find yourself bored in Vegas — from gambling and drinking on a fun night out to relaxing at some of the finest dining, there's guaranteed something for everyone. Google Maps and Apple Maps will be your best friends when navigating to your destination.
Here are some of our personal favorite activities from our previous travels to Las Vegas.
In the heart of the Las Vegas strip is the Bellagio Hotel, home to the infamous Fountains of Bellagio. It's a water show that dazzles the hearts of tourists and locals alike with shows every 30 minutes from noon to 7pm, and every 15 minutes from 7pm to midnight. Find yourself a cozy spot along the railing of the fountain pond and enjoy the show!
We highly recommend watching the Fountains of Bellagio at night, perhaps after the excitement of the Las Vegas Open events, as the night lights embedded in the fountain illuminate the water as it dances.
And while you're there, check out the botanical garden inside the Bellagio Hotel! They often have seasonal displays within the garden, perfect for pictures with your friends or family.
Las Vegas is home to the second largest ferris wheel in the world, the High Roller standing at 550 feet tall! If you're into sightseeing, this is the perfect way to get a bird's eye view of the entire strip below you.
Because of its sheer size, the High Roller can fit large groups within just one pod cabin and each revolution around the wheel takes around 30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to socialize with your fellow players from the Las Vegas Open while enjoying the view. You can even purchase a Happy Hour ticket to enjoy the bar inside the cabin.
Tourists can't leave Las Vegas without taking a sign at the famous Las Vegas sign. Located on the median of 1500 Las Vegas Boulevard South, this 25-foot tall lit-up sign is a rite of passage for all Vegas goers who want to snap a quick picture for social media.
The sign is prettiest at night, of course, because it's completely lit up. However, if you're looking for the picture perfect lighting, taking the photo during the day may be better (and perhaps less busy as well).
Could you really visit the Las Vegas Open without indulging in the luxuries Las Vegas itself has to offer? The city is known for its shopping, gambling, and so much more.
Some notable casinos known for their high-end casino experiences are the Wynn Casino, MGM, Aria, and Fremont Street downtown. The strip casinos are more so for a novelty Vegas gambling experience, but locals prefer downtown for cheaper games. The strip is the place to be for indulgent spending with its luxury shops in all the hotels and the Boulevard Mall.
Be sure to do your research for a shopping or gaming experience that suits you best in the area! You won't want to miss what Vegas has to offer.
Like most big cities, the food scene in Las Vegas is unforgettable. Make sure to eat whenever you can while you're on your Las Vegas Open trip as you'll be drinking quite a lot. Luckily, Las Vegas has an amazing bar scene and food scene. Below are some highly-rated recommendations from our team and other tourists that you may want to check out while traveling for the Las Vegas Open.
The best deal for food in all of Las Vegas is Stage Door Hot Dogs at Stage Door Casino. It's a bar that's open 24/7 and has some of the cheapest drinks, beer, and food in Vegas. If you're looking for a break away from the high prices of restaurants and bars on the strip, make sure to get a Stage Door hot dog after the Las Vegas Open!
While you're there, you can even cheer on your favorite football and hockey teams on the big screen as you enjoy your food. Nothing can beat $5 for a beer and some hot dogs.
Best Friend by Roy Choi, a famous Korean-American chef, is one of the top-rated restaurants in Las Vegas by locals and tourists. Located in the strip at the MGM Hotel, Best Friend offers an "indelible mash-up of bodega, bar, and restaurant" food with some of Chef Choi's best dishes from his iconic LA food truck Kogi.
The food at Best Friend is often described as a Korean fusion cuisine, combining Korean flavors with some Western style dishes like tacos, carbonara, and more.
If you're a fan of Italian soul food, look no further than Esther's Kitchen located on South Main Street away from the strip. Esther's Kitchen feels homey as an ode to home cooking, auntie-style. Make sure to book a reservation as this restaurant is widely popular amongst locals and tourists alike.
There are endless pasta and pizza options on the menu, from cacio e pepe to a classic margherita pizza. You can even enjoy their unique brunch menu with delicious omelettes and frittatas dressed in irresistible Italian flavors.
For an upscale Thai food experience, we recommend Lotus of Siam, a highly rated restaurant located slightly off the strip. There are multiple locations: Flamingo Road, Sahara Avenue, and inside Red Rock Casino. It's a bit on the pricier side, but the flavors of Northern Thai cuisine are hard to pass up. Treat yourself to a nice meal after playing in the Las Vegas Open!
You can't go wrong with Thai classics like their satay, pad thai, or pad see ew. But if you're looking to switch it up a bit, my personal favorite is their Nam Khao Tod, a crispy rice ball salad with tangy flavors that dance on your tongue.
Before you leave Las Vegas, don't forget to collect some souvenirs as mementos of your Las Vegas Open trip! Picking up some gifts for your loved ones is a great way to show someone that you were thinking of them while traveling as well. You'll be able to find a souvenir shop anywhere on the strip since it's always bustling with tourists ready to spend their money.
