I used to be play in the masters leagues in MN and WI until my wrist and fingers started going numb. I ended up quitting and haven't played in twenty years. Fast forward to today; I have a friend who plays on the West Coast and he plans to move to my city. I'm not sure what we will do if I don't figure out my wrist and finger problems. I have decided to train myself with my off-hand. So I'm out buying all new darts and accessories.
These Hornets improve everything I didn't care for in my old darts. (and I love my old darts) They are the same barrel shape but a little bit thicker in a good way. They are also a little bit gripper in a good way without being too much. Those are two areas of my old darts I used to wish were different. Anyway, these were quickly my new favorites.
I hope you have a shaft and flight solution, though. The flight shaft system that come with these darts are garbage. I can't keep the flights on, they fall out constantly, and then the tiny silver ring that is suppose to hold the flight on also comes off and they are almost impossible to find. I'm disappointed in them and was hoping they would work well. Now, after twenty years, I need to find a system that works for me. I see there are a lot of options.
So, the barrels are awesome, especially for $50.00. The shafts are garbage.
