Description
Trinidad Pro Series Chavez Type 3 soft tip darts are 95% tungsten with a front heavy torpedo barrel that was designed with a straight barrel in mind. These are Shunsuke Sagara's third signature model.
While keeping the attributes from the Type 2, this model's taper angle was decreased to closely resemble a straight barrel. The barrel is made up of only ring cuts and the main gripping point consists of wide but shallow ring cuts that provide sufficient grip that are not overly aggressive.
The biggest feature of this barrel is the shape. The front is straight but tapers are added as it reaches the main gripping point. Having the taper and the ring cuts allows the power to transfer directly onto the darts as it is thrown.
Despite the barrel made up of mostly simple looking cuts, there are many considerations that were made when designing the barrel. The ring cuts were rounded off to make the cut smoother to assist the grip at the front of the barrel.
